6 Tips on how to take care of Curly Hair
Modeling curls can be a challenge. It is naturally dry, usually rough and prone to ranunculus. Not to mention that most of us have a variety of curly patterns. But there is a good thing here: with the right skills and products, you can get a soft, healthy roll of light in the way you want. We know because we talk to 15 different women – all women have different types of curls – they not only embrace but also master the natural texture. Here, find the rules and tricks that I have seen to change the game because I am looking at the dry, dirty fluff (not that good) into a resounding ring.
If you have curly hair, you should wash it with 100% sulfate-free shampoo. Also, if you have beautiful hair, you should try to wash your hair every 2-3 days. If you have normal hair, you should do it once a week. On other days, try the so-called “co-washing” and wash your hair with a clean conditioner. Moisture is suitable for curly hair because it reduces the edgy and keeps the natural curl intact.
Make sure to use a lot of conditioners
In fact, the curling of the hair takes longer to allow the natural oil on the scalp to flow to the tip of the hair. This will eventually produce dry hair at the bottom. Therefore, you should maximize the amount of water in your hair. Always use moisturizing conditioner on your hair from the shower. After showering, use double the conditioner as a conditioner to ensure you lock in moisture.
Do not use a brush
The use of a brush disturbs the formation of the curl and produces a burr. Brushes are also very irritating to the hair, so they can cause hair to break. Instead, you should comb your hair with your fingers after showering. If your hair has some major knots, use a wide-toothed comb to take them out.
Do not use too much heat
Although hot iron may be a good way to get smooth straight hair, it can also cause great damage to your natural curls. Excessive heat on the hair changes its natural protein, making the curls spiral. Therefore, if you must use a hot iron, be sure not to set the temperature to more than 400 degrees.
Do not dry your hair with a towel
When we left the shower, most of us had the bad habit of drying our hair with a towel. However, the towel dries your hair, especially if it curls naturally, which will wrinkle your cuticles and cause dizziness once dry. Therefore, minimize the friction involved in drying your hair.
Use a silk pillowcase instead of a cotton pillow
This is a little-known fact, but the cotton pillowcase absorbs moisture from the hair at night. This tends to produce curly hair. Cotton pillowcases can also break at night because they create more friction between the hair and the material. To avoid this, try using a silk pillowcase!
